Remote Technical Support.


Your own Technical Support department just a phone call and an Internet connection away.

       £40 per hour (charged by 15 minute periods) ad-hoc technical support and advice.
               Support provided by telephone, e-mail and remote access.
       Ongoing technical support contract.
               Price is dependent on the number of computers supported.

HOW DO I USE THIS PAGE?

Getting the right bundle of services for any business can be complex. Few people understand the technology well enough to know what they need to keep their business on the right track.

Click on the relevant heading in the centre panel e.g. "I want Help when I need it" and it will open automatically to reveal some explanatory text and prices. If you want to discuss any item with us, simply select the item you think most applies to you and then move on to the next heading of interest.

If you would like us to contact you then simply enter your name and e-mail address or telephone number and we will get back to you. This is not a sales led organisation so don't worry about being given the hard sell - time is the great killer for any small business, we don't believe in wasting yours or ours.


WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

If you do decide to sign up for a range of services then we will make the transfer from your existing provider, if you have one, to ourselves as uneventful as possible.

At worst, we will require a letter of authorisation from you enabling us to act on your behalf.

We will contact your current provider and arrange for the transfer of any existing web site to our servers and set them up, ready to run. If your existing provider works with us, the transfer will be seamless - it usually is.


WHAT ABOUT ALL THE TECHNICAL STUFF?

There are a number of things to do before you can use the system. You will need to install the remote access software for instance. This can be done by you under our guidance or we can connect remotely to your system and do it for you.

The tasks are simple enough in themselves but the timing is important. Yes, you can make the changes yourself but our preference is that we do it.

The set up process is free of charge. We can perform this task during the day or the early evening at your convenience.


WHAT ABOUT PAYMENT?

Yes, we like to be paid :-)

To minimise processing delays, we will send you an electronic invoice from our Paypal account. For monthly payments, this will cover the remaining portion of the current month together with the following month. This provides sufficient time for any paperwork to be completed e.g. Direct Debit Mandate. For annual payments, this will cover the entire year adjusted to take into account any mid month starting point. The service will commence on receipt of electronic payment e.g. debit or credit card.

As the initial invoice will be sent using our Paypal account, a 3.5% surcharge will be levied to cover the Paypal charges. We do not make a profit from this charge.

Subsequent monthly charges will be collected by Direct Debit on the 1st day of every month. Invoices for annual charges will be sent electronically one month before they are due.


WHAT IF I HAVE PAYMENT PROBLEMS?

We know the problems of running a micro or small business. We understand the need for cash flow. If you expect to have a problem meeting a payment, please let us know in good time so that we can reach an agreement and prevent a payment request from being returned.

Should a Direct Debit payment request be returned unpaid then the service will be suspended immediately. Should payment for an invoice not be received on or before the due date then the service will be suspended without notice.

Should the service be suspended as a result of late or non payment then the overdue amount, our bank charges and an administration fee of £10.00 must be paid before the service is resumed.
